शेख भीखारी मेडिकल कॉलेज अस्पताल के लेबर रूम में आग, बड़ा हादसा टला
हजारीबाग़ : शेख भीखारी मेडिकल कॉलेज अस्पताल के लेबर रूम में मंगलवार देर शाम अचानक आग लग गई। घटना के बाद अस्पताल परिसर में अफरातफरी का माहौल हो गया। मरीज अपने बच्चों को लेकर जान बचाने के लिए इधर-उधर भागते नजर आए। हालांकि, मरीजों के परिजनों और अस्पताल प्रबंधन की सूझबूझ से स्थिति काबू में आ गई और एक बड़ा हादसा टल गया।
जानकारी के मुताबिक, मरीज के परिजन ने लेबर रूम में मच्छर अगरबत्ती जलाई थी, जिसके पास ही ऑक्सीजन पाइपलाइन थी। चिंगारी संपर्क में आने से आग तेजी से फैल गई और देखते ही देखते लपटें पूरे वार्ड में पहुंच गईं।
घटना के समय वार्ड में करीब 40 से 50 मरीज भर्ती थे। लगभग एक घंटे की मशक्कत के बाद मरीजों को शांत कराया गया। राहत की बात यह रही कि इस घटना में किसी की जान नहीं गई।
घटना की सूचना मिलते ही सांसद प्रतिनिधि रंजन चौधरी अस्पताल पहुंचे। उन्होंने परिजनों की लापरवाही को इस घटना के लिए जिम्मेदार बताया और भविष्य में ऐसी घटनाओं से बचने के लिए अस्पताल प्रबंधन को सतर्क रहने की सलाह दी।
अस्पताल के सुपरिंटेंडेंट डॉ. अनुकरण पूर्ति ने तत्काल फायर ब्रिगेड को सूचना दी और जांच शुरू कराने का निर्देश दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि पूरे मामले की पड़ताल की जा रही है ताकि भविष्य में ऐसी घटनाओं की पुनरावृत्ति न हो।
