रेहू मछली में रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता बढ़ाने की दवा का सफल परीक्षण
विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय की शोधार्थी ने झारखंड के पौधों से खोज निकाला सूत्र
हजारीबाग/संवाददाता:–विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय, हजारीबाग के बायोटेक्नोलॉजी विभाग में एक बड़ी उपलब्धि हासिल हुई है। विभाग की शोधार्थी आकृति गुप्ता ने झारखंड में पाए जाने वाले भेलवा पौधे से ऐसी दवा खोजी है, जो रोहू (रेहू) मछली की रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता बढ़ाने में कारगर सिद्ध हुई है।रोहू मछली, जिसे रुई या कारपो के नाम से भी जाना जाता है, देश की प्रमुख मीठे पानी की प्रजाति है। लेकिन प्रदूषण और रासायनिक दवाओं के अधिक प्रयोग से यह मछली गंभीर बीमारियों की चपेट में आ रही थी। आकृति गुप्ता ने भेलवा पौधे का वैज्ञानिक परीक्षण कर बैक्टीरिया और फफूंद से ग्रसित मछलियों पर इसका प्रयोग किया। परिणामस्वरूप मछलियों में प्रतिरोधक शक्ति बढ़ी और प्रतिरोधी जीन सक्रिय हो गए।यह शोध आकृति ने डा. पी.के. मिश्रा और डा. एस.के. गुप्ता (IABR, रांची) के मार्गदर्शन में पूरा किया। फाइनल मौखिक परीक्षा प्रो. एन.के. दूबे (बीएचयू) ने ली और उन्हें पीएचडी उपाधि के लिए योग्य घोषित किया गया।आकृति गुप्ता ने अब तक आठ शोध पत्र और चार बुक-चैप्टर प्रकाशित किए हैं। उनका साइटेशन 72 है। उन्होंने CSIR, GATE और IIT JAM जैसी परीक्षाएं भी उत्तीर्ण की हैं। विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति प्रो. चंद्र भूषण शर्मा ने उन्हें बोर्ड ऑफ गवर्नेंस का सदस्य भी नामित किया है।आकृति डीएवी पब्लिक स्कूल हजारीबाग, अन्नदा महाविद्यालय और वनस्थली विद्यापीठ की पूर्व छात्रा रही हैं।
